White Zinfandel is Zinfandel picked and pressed off its skins fast, so it comes out pink and lightly sweet rather than dark and tannic. Baron Herzog's is a California staple and one of the most-sold kosher bottles in the country.

Strawberry, melon and a little citrus. Light and gently sweet across the palate. A soft, short finish.
Food pairing
Deli, barbecue, spicy food and fruit. Easy at a kiddush where not everyone drinks dry.
