Casa Al Vento's Aria is a 100% Sangiovese Chianti Classico DOCG grown at Borgo Casa Al Vento in Gaiole in Chianti, aged twelve months in barriques and another six in bottle. Kosher, and a rare classical Tuscan find.

Tasting notes
The nose opens with red cherry, dried rose, and a hint of sweet spice over a light savory edge. The palate is dry, medium-bodied, and structured, with red-fruit lift, dried herbs, and a fine dusty tannin that carries Sangiovese's signature grip. The finish is long and pleasantly warm, with an earthy note and a whisper of tobacco.
Food pairing
A classical partner for pasta bolognese, roast lamb, herbed chicken, and Shabbos brisket. Also holds up to aged cheeses and slow-cooked stews.
