Rollover To Zoom
Carrement Sauvignon is a fresh, lightly aromatic Sauvignon Blanc from Univitis, a producer-grower cooperative in France's Sud-Ouest making the IGP Atlantique appellation. Whole-bunch pressed, cool-fermented, bottled young to keep the citrus and stone fruit bright.
Mood: Bright, citrus, easy.
Sommelier's note
"Crisp Atlantic Sauvignon at a Tuesday-night price — pour it cold and don't overthink it."
Tasting notes
Lemon zest, white peach, fresh-cut grass, a hint of elderflower. Light-bodied, dry, clean acidity; green apple and grapefruit lead, with a faint herbal note. Short and snappy, citrus-driven, no oak.
Pairing
Friday-night gefilte fish with horseradish, kiddush salads, grilled white fish, goat cheese, or simply chilled as an aperitif.
