Rollover To Zoom
From Moshav Dalton in the Upper Galilee, five kilometres from the Lebanese border, comes one of Israel's most reliable summer pours. A Shiraz-Grenache blend, fresh and aromatic, made by a family winery operating in the country's coolest, highest grape-growing region since 1995.
Mood: bright, summery, Galilee at the table.
Our sommelier says
"The bottle that converts red drinkers to summer rosé. Aromatic, dry, just enough Galil minerality to keep it serious. Don't keep it past the next heat wave."
Tasting notes
A wide-open nose of bright strawberry, rose petal, and red grapefruit. The palate is fresh and zippy, with bright acidity carrying the wine's fruit-driven core. The finish is dry and faintly mineral.
Food pairing
Mezze, roasted eggplant with tahini, grilled chicken, dairy lunches, Shabbos day spreads. Serve well chilled at 8–10°C.
