Rollover To Zoom
Photo for reference. Vintage may differ from the bottle shipped.
Shiloh's Legend series names each wine for a figure from the Talmud, and Honi HaMe'agel — the circle-drawer who slept seventy years — gets this one. The label carries his picture.
Mood: Rich, storied, dry.
Our sommelier says
A gift bottle as much as a drinking bottle. The label does half the work at a Yom Tov table.
Tasting notes
Blackberry, cassis and sweet oak spice. Full and ripe across the palate with a firm tannic frame. A long, warm, spiced finish.
Food pairing
Lamb, grilled steak and slow-braised meat. Good on Yom Tov and at a sheva brachos.
