Rollover To Zoom
Or Haganuz Har Sinai Pisga is the winery's flagship dessert red, blended from 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot grown at the foot of Mount Meron in the Upper Galilee. Aged 36 months in French oak, then bottled sweet in a port-style register that only a few Israeli producers ever attempt.
Mood: Rich, ceremonial, indulgent.
Tasting Notes
Bordeaux-red in the glass with shades of purple and gentle orange at the rim. The nose lifts on dried black plums, red raisins, cloves, and peppery chocolate. The palate is full, round, and velvety, harmonious from front to back, closing on a long and unusually distinctive finish.
Food Pairing
A dessert wine in the truest sense: pour it with dark chocolate, a rich cheesecake, or a slice of honey cake. Also a striking closer for a Yom Tov meal, standing up to nut-based pastries and strong cheeses.
