Rollover To Zoom
Shimon & Co Mukuzani is a mevushal dry Saperavi from the Mukuzani microzone in Kakheti, Georgia. The mevushal Shabbos-safe version of the country's classic oak-aged dry red.
Mood: Dry. Rich. Shabbos-safe.
Tasting notes
The nose lifts ripe blackberry, dark cherry, and a subtle cocoa lift over a soft dried-herb note. The palate is full-bodied and structured, with dark Saperavi fruit weight, gentle spice, and a whisper of oak carried on firm ripe tannins. The finish is warm and long, with a lingering dark-fruit note and a subtle earthy grip.
Food pairing
A natural partner for brisket, cholent, dry-aged steak, and Georgian khachapuri or khinkali. Also holds up to bold aged cheeses.
