Rollover To Zoom
Twin Suns Reserve Old Vine Zinfandel is picked from small-yield, gnarled old vines in Lodi, California, where the fruit ripens deep and dark. Concentrated, spicy, and mevushal, it's a big-shouldered Shabbos red that shows up ready to feed a table.
Mood: Rich. Peppery. Generous.
Tasting notes
The nose opens with jammy blackberry, ripe plum, and a lift of white pepper over dried herb notes. The palate is full-bodied and layered, with dark-fruit sweetness, black cherry, cracked spice, and a wisp of mocha carrying through smooth tannins. The finish is long, warm, and lightly peppery, with a soft oak spice keeping the last sip lifted.
Food pairing
A classic partner for brisket, dry-aged steak, pulled meats, chili, and cholent. Also holds up to sharp blue cheeses, hard aged cheddars, and slow-cooked lamb.
