Casamigos Blanco is made from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the Jalisco highlands, slow-roasted for three days and rested two months before bottling. It was built by its founders to be drunk neat without a wince.
Mood: Soft, sweet, smooth.
Our sommelier says
Neat, at room temperature, in a small glass. It is smooth enough that lime and salt only get in the way.
Tasting notes
Sweet cooked agave and citrus on the nose, with a hint of vanilla. Soft and rounded across the palate, agave-forward with mild pepper. A long, clean finish with barely any bite.
Food pairing
Neat as an aperitif, or as the base of a proper margarita. Good beside grilled meat and anything off the barbecue.
