Rollover To Zoom
Carmel's King David Concord is the traditional Israeli Kiddush wine, sweet Concord in the glass for close to sixty years. Deep purple, sweet and familiar, the bottle for HaGafen on Friday night and the four cups at the seder.
Mood: Sweet, classic, kiddush staple.
"Reliable sweet kiddush wine at a kind price. Pour it Friday night, the kids drink the grape juice, the grandparents drink this."
Tasting Notes
Deep purple in the glass. Intense Concord nose of foxy grape and grape jam. The palate is sweet, smooth and thick with classic Concord fruit and gentle acidity. Finish is sweet, clean and long.
Food Pairing
The Kiddush wine. Pours for HaGafen after davening, the four cups at the seder, and guests who want something sweet. Also pairs with sponge cake, honey cake, and gefilte fish. Serve lightly chilled.
