Rollover To Zoom
Avion Reserva 44 is the top of the Avion range: 100% single-estate highland agave aged forty-four months in petite American Oak barrels, then hand-filled into a fire-polished crystal decanter. A sipping extra anejo built to rival aged cognac.
Mood: Silky, oaky, contemplative.
Tasting notes
The nose opens with warm vanilla, ripe stone fruit, and toasted oak framed by a soft agave sweetness. The palate is layered and unmistakably long: caramel, dark cherry, cinnamon bark, and a light smoke from four years of barrel time. The finish carries the promised forty-four flavor notes into a lingering close of chocolate, black pepper, and gentle char.
Pairing
A sipper first. Serve neat in a snifter after dinner, ideally with a good cigar, dark chocolate, or a slice of pecan pie. Also a knockout in a rested Old Fashioned with an orange twist.
