Rollover To Zoom
Carmel is Israel's oldest winery, founded in 1882 by Baron Edmond de Rothschild. The Mediterranean is a warm-climate blend that leans into old-vine Carignan and southern grape varieties suited to Israel's sun.
Mood: Sun-baked, savory, warm.
Tasting notes
Black cherry, garrigue herbs, dried figs, and a curl of pepper. Rounded dark fruit meets savory herbs and warming spice with soft-shouldered tannin. Warm, herbal, and gently spicy with a Mediterranean sun-drenched fade.
Food pairing
Serve with slow-braised lamb, cholent, or a Shabbos brisket sandwich.
