Carmel Winery, founded in 1882 by Baron Edmond de Rothschild, has long championed Emerald Riesling as an Israeli classic. Blended with soft Chenin Blanc, this Selected bottling is a mevushal, gently off-dry kiddush favorite.
Mood: Floral, gentle, semi-dry.
Tasting notes
White flowers, ripe pear, and a citrus lift. Soft and gently sweet with fresh stone fruit and a floral honeyed note. Clean and lightly sweet with a refreshing citrus close.
Food pairing
A natural for kiddush spreads, gefilte fish, and pareve fish courses.
