Tasting Notes
Black cherry, cassis, dried violet, cedar, a touch of pencil shavings and earth. Medium-bodied with plenty of energy — red and black fruits in tight focus, fine-grained tannins, savory mid-palate with notes of leather and tobacco. Long and structured with cedar, dark fruit, and a refined mineral edge.
Food Pairing
Standing rib roast, dry-aged steak, leg of lamb, slow-braised short ribs, or a holiday meal where the wine is the point.
Cassis, cedar, classified-growth gravitas.
