The nose is deep and inviting, with ripe plum, blackcurrant, and baked black cherry lifted by cocoa, vanilla, and a touch of cedar. Full-bodied and round, it coats the palate in dark fruit and mocha, its tannins ripe and supple rather than austere. The finish is warm and long, closing on dark chocolate and sweet spice.

Food pairing

A natural with a Shabbos brisket, a grilled ribeye, or slow-braised short ribs. The plush texture also carries cholent and hearty winter stews.
