Rollover To Zoom
Chateau Maime's Collection Rose is a classic Cotes de Provence blend of Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault from an estate whose Provencal chapel dates to the Middle Ages. Pale, dry, and unmistakably Provence — mevushal so it pours freely at the summer Shabbos table.
Mood: Pale, Provence, summer.
"Real Cotes de Provence rose in a kosher, mevushal bottle at under twenty dollars — this is the summer weeknight pour that never disappoints. Buy it by the case."
Tasting Notes
Pale salmon-pink in the glass. Nose of white peach, wild strawberry, orange blossom and a whisper of Provencal herbs. The palate is dry and refreshing with red berry, citrus zest and a cleansing mineral edge. Finish is crisp, lightly floral and thirst-quenching.
Food Pairing
The summer Shabbos rose — pours with grilled salmon, cold chicken salad, tuna nicoise, or a Mediterranean spread of hummus, olives and grilled vegetables. Also perfect chilled at Shalosh Seudos or a Chol HaMoed picnic.
