Our sommelier says
Medium-to-deep ruby. The nose is recognizable Left Bank - blackcurrant and dark cherry over cedar, pencil shaving, and a wisp of tobacco. Cabernet Sauvignon leads on structure, Merlot rounds the mid-palate. Medium-to-full body, fine-grained tannin from the Haut-Médoc gravels, French oak that frames rather than dominates. Finishes savory and gently herbal. Drinks well now with food; will hold five-plus years in the cellar.
