Rollover To Zoom
Photo for reference. Vintage may differ from the bottle shipped.
Corner Creek Distilling Company hand-selects barrels of corn, wheat and rye-mash bourbon aged a minimum of four years, with a high proportion of eight-year stocks in the blend. The result is a soft, wine-bottle-shaped Kentucky pour that punches above its 88 proof.
Mood: Soft, Sippable, Sleeper.
Sommelier’s note
“A Kentucky whisper, not a shout.”
Tasting notes
Light orchard fruit and earthy grain. Deep oak, vanilla and butterscotch with a subtle spice undertow. Medium length, gentle spice fading into sweet vanilla.
Pairing
Neat in a Glencairn, slow-sipped beside a cheese board, or stirred into a Manhattan that wants to play nice.
