Mountain Laurel Spirits revived the dormant Pennsylvania rye tradition with Dad's Hat, the first Straight Rye distilled in the state in over twenty-five years. Local grain, farm-to-bottle production, and a minimum of four years in charred new oak give it a layered, distinctly Pennsylvania spice.

Tasting notes
Pepper and cinnamon spice with green apple and cocoa. Layers of fig, cocoa powder and baking spice coat the tongue. Long, smooth and lingering.

Drink neat to taste the grain, stir into a Sazerac, or pair with dark chocolate and aged cheddar.
