Our sommelier says
Deep ruby-purple. The nose leads with raspberry and cherry that, with air, opens into darker forest-fruit notes and the leafy, pencil-shaving signature Cab Franc is loved for. Twenty months in French barrels show up as integrated spice and fine-grained tannin rather than blunt wood. The palate is full but precise, fruit and savory in even balance, finishing long and tightly composed. Decant thirty minutes; drink with food, not standing around.

Raspberry, cherry, forest fruit, graphite, leafy herb, French oak spice. Full body, fine-grained tannin, fruit and savory in balance, oak-integrated. Long, composed, gently smoky.
Food pairing
Roast lamb, ribeye, slow-braised short ribs, aged hard cheese (after the wait), hearty Friday-night seudah.
