Rollover To Zoom
Photo for reference. Vintage may differ from the bottle shipped.
Galil Mountain farms in the Upper Galilee on the Lebanese border, at Kibbutz Yiron. Alon means oak, and it is one of the winery's blended reds.
Mood: Dry, blended, northern.
Our sommelier says
Upper Galilee reds carry their altitude — there is usually more freshness here than the ripeness suggests.
Tasting notes
Blackberry, plum and a herbal note. Medium to full across the palate, dry, with moderate tannin. A clean, balanced finish.
Food pairing
Roast meat, grilled chicken and a Friday-night table.
