Rollover To Zoom
Photo for reference. Vintage may differ from the bottle shipped.
New Zealand grows Pinot Gris with more weight and more texture than the Italian version of the same grape, and Goose Bay's comes off Marlborough fruit. Fuller than you expect from the name on the label.
Mood: Textured, dry, generous.
Our sommelier says
Do not serve it as cold as a Sauvignon Blanc. Ten minutes out of the fridge and the pear character opens right up.
Tasting notes
Ripe pear, white peach and a hint of honeysuckle. Dry and rounded across the palate with real weight for a white. A clean, gently spiced finish.
Food pairing
Roast chicken, fish, salads and mildly spiced food. Good with schnitzel.
