Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is the wine that made New Zealand famous — piercing, green, unmistakable — and Goose Bay is the kosher one. It tastes like a lime cut open.
Mood: Sharp, green, bracing.
Our sommelier says
Serve it very cold and drink it young. This style is about attack, not age.
Tasting notes
Passionfruit, lime zest and fresh-cut grass. Bone dry and razor-sharp across the palate. A long, zesty, citrus finish.
Food pairing
Goat cheese, grilled fish, salads and anything with lemon on it. Very good with sushi.
