Miami Grapefruit is an arak-based hard seltzer with sharp pink grapefruit, packaged in a portable 4-pack of cans. A kosher twist on the hard-seltzer category that uses aniseed arak as the spirit base instead of vodka.
Mood: Bitter citrus. Anise. Fizzy.
Tasting notes
The nose is pink grapefruit peel with a soft anise lift behind it. The palate is light and dry, the citrus bitterness cutting against a warm arak spice and clean seltzer bubbles. The finish is short and crisp, with a faint liquorice close.
Food pairing
Serve well-chilled at Shabbos afternoon lunches, poolside gatherings and Yom Tov brunches. Good with grilled fish, mezze, olives and anything salty.
