Tasting notes
Nose opens with toasted almond, grilled walnut, and fresh grape, with notes of vanilla and light pepper. Palate is full and supple — dried fruit, candied citrus peel, and a touch of oak spice. Finish is long, warming, and rounded, with a final lift of cocoa and flambeed pear.
Pairing
The default pour for a Sidecar, Sazerac, or French Connection, and the cognac most often called for neat at the cigar lounge. Serves equally well over a single large rock after a steakhouse dinner.
