Rollover To Zoom
Named for the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hevron - Murciano's reserve Cabernet-Merlot, twenty-four months in French oak, from the high Judean mountains.
Mood: The cellar bottle. The Yom Tov first night where the host puts out the wine that's been waiting for the occasion.
Tasting notes
Plum, dark cherry, spicy oak, soft vanilla. Full body, fine well-integrated tannin, soft rich mid-palate, oak-layered. Long, spice-driven, composed.
Food pairing
Standing rib roast, lamb shoulder, beef brisket, aged hard cheese (after the wait), Yom Tov seudah.
