Rollover To Zoom
A classic Concord kiddush wine in the magnum that handles a full Shabbos table without a second bottle.
Mood: Friday-night kiddush, grape-juice-lovers, the easy bottle the grandkids reach for.
Our sommelier says
Deep purple, unmistakably Concord on the nose - candied grape, jam, a whisper of cooked fruit. The palate is round and sweet without being syrupy, with the soft tannin Concord gives when it's well-made. Clean finish, no harsh alcohol edge. The 1.5L size is built for tables of ten or more where one bottle has to cover kiddush plus a second glass.
Tasting notes
Concord grape jam, blueberry, candied violet. Sweet, round, gentle tannin, jammy black fruit. Clean, soft, lingering grape note.
Food pairing
Friday-night kiddush, challah, sweet kugel, fruit compote, the seder's four cups.
