Luxardo's answer to Aperol — a subtle blend of herbs, roots and bitter-sweet citrus, ideal for spritz, as the label says outright. Bright red, low in alcohol and made for the hour before dinner.
Mood: Bitter, orange, sunlit.
Our sommelier says
Three parts prosecco, two parts aperitivo, one part soda, and a slice of orange. That ratio is the whole drink.
Tasting notes
Bitter orange peel, rhubarb and a herbal root note. Sweet and bitter together across the palate, light in body. A clean, bitter-citrus finish.
Food pairing
Spritz before a meal, with olives, crisps and salty snacks.
