Rollover To Zoom
Netofa Latour Red is a Syrah-Mourvèdre blend from Pierre Miodownick's boutique winery in Israel's Lower Galilee, drawn from the finest parcels around Mount Tavor. A Rhône-style Israeli red with old-world composure.
Mood: Rhône, boutique, savory.
Sommelier's note
"A Rhône-inspired Israeli red in the Miodownick style. Black plum, black pepper, cured herb, and a savory finish. The insider's dinner-party bottle."
Tasting notes
Deep ruby with aromas of black plum, blackberry, cracked pepper, and Mediterranean herb. The palate is medium-full and dry, with black cherry, cured olive, a light gaminess, and firm but polished tannin. The finish is long, peppery, and savory.
Food pairing
Grilled lamb, herbed roast, brisket with rosemary, mushroom kugel, hard aged cheeses. A serious Shabbos main-course red for a table that knows Rhône wines.
