Rollover To Zoom
Five-year aged Moravian slivovitz from Jelinek — triple distilled from ripe Czech plums, then mellowed in oak. The everyday slivovitz, not Kosher for Passover; for the year-round l'chaim.
Mood: Mellow, oaky, traditional.
Tasting notes
Ripe plum, bitter almond, gentle oak, a whisper of vanilla. Full-bodied with concentrated plum fruit, soft oak warmth, and a dry spirit core. Long and warming with a clean orchard-fruit close.
Food pairing
Neat after a heavy meal; alongside dark chocolate or strudel; classic l'chaim pour.
