Recanati Merlot draws on Israel's ancient soil and long growing season to nurture fine merlot fruit. Grapes are hand-picked and gently pressed, then the wine is aged eight months in French oak. Medium-bodied and garnet-hued, this is the accessible face of the Recanati portfolio.

Tasting Notes
Generous fruit aromas on the nose - ripe cherry, red berry, and a whisper of vanilla from French oak. The palate is medium-bodied and rounded, with soft tannins carrying a plush core of red fruit and warm spice. The finish is smooth and lingering, with a lift of vanilla oak.
Food Pairing
A natural partner for grilled meats, roasted chicken or turkey, pasta with tomato sauce, and robust vegetarian dishes. Comfortable on a weeknight and just as at home on the Shabbos table.
