The original Righteous Seven — the first liqueur distilled from all seven species of Eretz Yisrael, wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives, and dates — given a bourbon barrel finish and bottled as a 750ml special release. Made by Righteous Road Craft Spirits of St. Louis, the Seven Species blend rests in charred oak, taking on the warm barrel notes that sit over its fruit core.
Mood: Rich, fruity, barrel-warmed.
“The seven species with a whiskey barrel's fingerprint on it.”
Tasting Notes
Forest fruits and dark chocolate lifted by vanilla, toffee, and toasted oak from the bourbon barrel. The fig-and-pomegranate core is still front and center, now wrapped in warm barrel spice, with cherry preserves, prune, and dried date carrying a long, dessert-like finish.
Pairing
Sipped neat after a heavy meal, poured over vanilla ice cream, or set beside dark chocolate and dried fruit at a Tu B'Shevat seder or Melaveh Malka.
