Rollover To Zoom
Photo for reference. Vintage may differ from the bottle shipped.
The red bulb bottle has been on Jewish sideboards for sixty years — Sabra is chocolate and Jaffa orange, imported from Israel, and it tastes exactly the way people remember it.
Mood: Nostalgic, sweet, dark.
Our sommelier says
Cold, in a small glass, after a meal. It is sweet enough that a full pour is too much.
Tasting notes
Dark chocolate and bitter orange peel. Rich and sweet across the palate with the orange cutting the cocoa. A long, sweet, cocoa-orange finish.
Food pairing
After dinner, over ice, or over ice cream. Good beside babka and chocolate cake.
