Rollover To Zoom
Photo for reference. Vintage may differ from the bottle shipped.
Treaty Oak distils in the Texas hill country outside Austin, and Ghost Hill is its straight bourbon — aged two years, bottled at 95 proof. Texas heat pushes barrels harder than Kentucky does, so two years there is not two years anywhere else.
Mood: Warm, bold, Texan.
Our sommelier says
At 95 proof it takes a drop of water well. Add it slowly and the corn sweetness opens right up.
Tasting notes
Vanilla, caramel corn and toasted oak. Full and warm across the palate with sweet corn and a peppery rye edge. A long, warm, oaky finish.
Food pairing
Neat, on a rock, or in an old fashioned. Good with smoked brisket and with pecan pie.
