Rollover To Zoom
Photo for reference. Vintage may differ from the bottle shipped.
The Odem Vineyard sits at the top of the Golan, the highest and coldest fruit the winery farms, and the label names it. That altitude is what lets an Israeli Chardonnay keep this much acidity.
Mood: Cool, oaked, precise.
Our sommelier says
Barrel-fermented Chardonnay wants a proper glass and ten minutes out of the fridge. Straight from the cold it shuts down.
Tasting notes
Green apple, citrus and a light toasty oak note. Full and rounded across the palate with a firm line of acidity underneath. A long, clean, citrus finish.
Food pairing
Roast chicken, salmon, and creamy pasta. Also good with a rich fish course on Friday night.
