Tasting notes
Deep ruby with aromas of red cherry, dried oregano, tobacco leaf, and a whisper of leather. The palate is medium-bodied and dry, with sour cherry, plum, and a firm acid spine that keeps everything lifted. The finish is savory, herbal, and gently tannic.
Food pairing
Classic with tomato-based pastas, meat lasagna, veal parmesan, grilled sausage, roast chicken and mushroom risotto. Also holds up to a Shabbos brisket with light red sauce.
