Rollover To Zoom
Podere La Regola's Ligustro is a Costa Toscana blend of 85% Sangiovese and 15% Syrah — hand-selected fruit, stainless fermentation, concrete-vat aging. A serious kosher Tuscan red that keeps its indigenous character while gaining a modern polish from the Syrah splash.
Mood: Ripe, Tuscan, honest.
"Costa Toscana done right — the Sangiovese carries the Tuscan DNA, the Syrah rounds the edges, and the kosher production hasn't cost the wine any character."
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby with garnet flashes. Nose of ripe blackberry, dark cherry, dried herbs and a whisper of leather. The palate is medium-full with silky tannins, balanced acidity and dark berry fruit that carries a subtle earthy, Tuscan mineral note. The finish is long, elegant, and gently spicy.
Food Pairing
Made for braised short ribs, Shabbos brisket, or a proper bistecca. Also excellent with pappardelle al ragù, aged pecorino, and grilled Italian sausages on the Motzei Shabbos board.
