Rollover To Zoom
Netofa Tel Qasser Red is the winery's flagship blend: a Portuguese-inspired blend of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, and Syrah from Pierre Miodownick's Lower Galilee estate. The insider's Israeli red, made in a serious Iberian mold.
Mood: Iberian, structured, insider.
Sommelier's note
"A Portuguese-hearted flagship from Netofa. Dark fruit, violet, and a wisp of black tea over polished tannin. The bottle for a Shabbos table that knows Douro."
Tasting notes
Deep ruby with aromas of black plum, blueberry, violet, and a hint of licorice. The palate is full-bodied and dry, with blackberry, dark chocolate, black tea, and firm elegant tannin. The finish is long, structured, and floral-spiced.
Food pairing
Grilled lamb, herbed roast, brisket with fig or plum reductions, mushroom risotto, aged hard cheeses. A serious main-course red for Shabbos or yom tov.
