Shimon & Co Kindzmarauli is a naturally semi-sweet Saperavi from the tiny Kindzmarauli microzone in Kakheti, Georgia. Not-mevushal, deep and fruit-forward, and a rare kosher window into a classic Georgian style.

Tasting notes

The nose lifts ripe dark cherry, blackberry jam, and a soft note of dried fig. The palate is full-bodied and semi-sweet, with rich Saperavi fruit weight, gentle spice, and a whisper of cocoa carrying through soft, ripe tannins. The finish is warm and long, with a sweet berry note and a lingering earthy grip.

Food pairing

A natural partner for cholent, brisket, roast duck, honey-glazed chicken, and dark-chocolate desserts. Also comfortable served slightly chilled on a Shabbos afternoon.
