Rollover To Zoom
Ethan's Reserve is the world's first kosher-for-Passover whiskey, distilled by Bruce Boeko at Nashville Craft Distillery from sorghum stalk syrup rather than grain. The result is a small-batch American whiskey that lets the Pesach table finally have a real dram after cholent.
Mood: Rare. Warm. Historic.
Tasting notes
Aromas of vanilla cake batter, honey, and toasted oak lead the nose with a gentle floral lift. The palate is soft and honeyed, layering butterscotch and light spice against a slight earthiness that anchors the sweetness. A long, warming finish carries charred-oak vanilla and a touch of caramel through to the last sip.
Food pairing
Beautiful neat after a Yom Tov meal, or on the rocks alongside brisket, smoked meats, and dark chocolate desserts. A natural for the Pesach seudah when other whiskeys are off the table.
