Rollover To Zoom
Entry-tier kosher Bordeaux from Cedev Vins — Merlot-led blend with Cab Sauvignon and Cab Franc, mevushal for the Shabbos table. Plum, blackcurrant, cedar, light vanilla — a friendly Bordeaux at a weeknight price.
Mood: Friendly, plush, Bordeaux.
"Real Bordeaux AOC in a kosher mevushal bottle at nineteen dollars — this is the workhorse Shabbos bottle every frum wine drawer needs. Buy it by the case."
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby. Nose of ripe plum, blackcurrant, cedar and a whisper of vanilla. The palate is medium-bodied with soft, well-integrated tannins, red and dark fruit, gentle oak spice and a Bordeaux-typical dryness. Finish is smooth, clean and cleanly resolved.
Food Pairing
Made for the weekly Shabbos brisket, roast chicken, or a mid-week ribeye. Also solid alongside cholent, burgers, and Motzei Shabbos meat platters.
