Created by Psagot owners Naama and Yaakov Berg in response to October 7th, the 7.10 red blend directs proceeds toward the rehabilitation of the Otef Aza kibbutzim. The label carries a Magen David radiating from the date itself, encircled by the names of the surrounding communities.

Mood: solemn, radiant, rebuilding.

Sommelier
A bottle for the Shabbos table where the conversation turns to what happened. Beit Israel drinks and remembers, and the proceeds go home.

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby-garnet. Aromas of blackberry, cassis, and warm cedar spice with a floral lift. The palate is medium-full and balanced, with ripe black fruit, plum, and a whisper of vanilla oak. The finish is warm and clean, gentle tannins carrying through.

Food Pairing

A Shabbos and yom tov red for brisket, roast chicken, veal osso buco, or a rich mushroom-forward main. Also natural at a farbrengen with dried fruit and nuts.
