Rollover To Zoom
Glenfiddich's 15-Year Solera takes whisky from sherry, bourbon, and new oak casks and marries them in a hand-built Solera vat that is never less than half full. The result is layered, warming, and unmistakably Speyside.
Mood: Honey, oak, heather.
Tasting notes
Honeyed malt, marzipan, sherry sweetness, faint cinnamon. Full-bodied with rich dried fruit, oak spice, and a creamy malt core. Long and warming with toffee and gentle smoke.
Food pairing
Neat in a Glencairn; with dark chocolate or aged hard cheese.
