Rollover To Zoom
Spokusa Cherry Temptation is a traditional Ukrainian cherry liqueur in the vishnivka (вишнівка) tradition, sour cherry macerated into grain spirit and sweetened. Produced by Bayadera Group's National Alcohol Company and awarded gold at the 2024 London Spirits Competition, a Ukrainian classic with a folk-art label.
Mood: cherry-sweet, warm, celebratory.
The bottle that used to appear at every simcha in Brooklyn. Chilled in a shot glass after cholent, or splashed over ice with seltzer.
Tasting Notes
Vivid sour-cherry aroma with a whisper of hibiscus and dried plum. The palate is sweet and cherry-forward, ripe fruit meeting a light spirit warmth. The finish carries dried fruit and gentle almond, an old-world liqueur balance.
Food Pairing
A traditional pour after a heavy Shabbos meal, at a Purim seudah, or as a l'chaim shot at a simcha. Also works over vanilla ice cream, splashed into hot black tea, or in a spritz with sparkling water and a lemon twist.
