Rollover To Zoom
Semi-sweet Cava from Bodegas Pinord's century-old Penedes cellars — the gentle off-dry counterpoint to their Brut Nature. Soft mousse, ripe orchard fruit, mevushal, KFP: bubbles for the crowd that wants a touch of sweetness.
Mood: Soft, sweet, crowd.
"Semi-sweet Cava DO at sixteen dollars — the crowd-friendly bubbles for engagement l'chaims and Motzei Shabbos dessert. Mevushal so it pours cleanly at any Shabbos table."
Tasting Notes
Pale straw with a soft fine bead. Nose of white peach, ripe pear, orange blossom and a whisper of brioche. The palate is off-dry to lightly sweet with citrus, orchard fruit and a soft mineral edge. Finish is gently sweet, cleanly refreshing and pleasantly persistent.
Food Pairing
The soft-sweet bubbles bottle — pours for engagement l'chaims, sheva brachos toasts, sponge cake, apple strudel, or a fruit dessert board. Also lovely alongside a Kiddush spread of light dairy and rugelach.
