Rollover To Zoom
Only the second kosher Priorat ever released. Daleah Wines sources from Marco Abella's high-altitude Porrera vineyards (650m), ages 13 months in French oak, and bottles the wine under rabbinical supervision. A landmark release — one of Spanish wine's most prestigious appellations, kosher for the first time in earnest.
Mood: Historic, slate, Priorat.
"Only the second kosher Priorat in history — that alone justifies buying it. But the wine is genuinely serious: real llicorella slate character, real Garnacha depth, and 13 months in French oak. A collector's bottle."
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby-purple. Nose of dark berry, black cherry, anise, fennel and warm sweet vanilla, over the signature slate-mineral pull of llicorella. The palate is full-bodied and structured with layered dark fruit, licorice, sweet oak spice and the taut, mineral finish that only Priorat delivers. Finish is long, complex and elegant.
Food Pairing
A Yom Tov bottle — pull the cork for Shabbos brisket with dark spice, prime rib, or slow-braised short rib. Also spectacular with lamb, venison-style dishes, and aged hard cheeses on the Motzei Shabbos board.
