Rollover To Zoom
Godet VS Classique is the entry-tier cognac from one of Cognac's oldest houses (founded 1588). Bright, fruit-forward, marketed kosher for Passover — a friendly cognac for the frum bar that doesn't demand a Yom Tov budget.
Mood: Bright, entry, cognac.
"Real Cognac AOC from a 400-year-old house, marketed KFP, at thirty-five dollars. This is the entry-level bottle every frum home bar needs on hand."
Tasting Notes
Pale amber. Nose of citrus zest, fresh grape, light vanilla and a whisper of orchard fruit. The palate is bright and fruit-forward with gentle oak, a hint of honey and a subtle floral note. Finish is clean, warming and lingering.
Food Pairing
A neat sipper after Yom Tov dinner, or mixed into a Sidecar, French 75 base, or classic Brandy Old Fashioned. Pairs with dark chocolate, walnut rugelach, or aged hard cheeses.
