Rollover To Zoom
GRW Mukuzani is Georgian Royal Wine's take on Georgia's classic oak-aged Saperavi from the Mukuzani microzone in Kakheti. The dry counterpart to Kindzmarauli, and the appellation that put dry Georgian red on the world wine map.
Mood: Dry. Structured. Storied.
Tasting notes
The nose lifts ripe blackberry, black cherry, and a soft cocoa note over a light savory edge. The palate is full-bodied and structured, with dark Saperavi fruit, dried herbs, and a whisper of oak carried on firm ripe tannins. The finish is long and warm, with a lingering dark-fruit note and a subtle earthy grip.
Food pairing
A natural for cholent, brisket, dry-aged steak, roast lamb, and Georgian khinkali. Also holds up to hard aged cheeses and slow-cooked stews.
