Tasting notes
The nose lifts ripe plum, blackberry, and a soft violet lift over a whisper of vanilla oak. The palate is medium-bodied and smooth, with round dark-fruit weight, gentle spice, and soft ripe tannins that make it easy through the meal. The finish is clean and warm, with a lingering plum note.
Food pairing
A natural for cholent, grilled meats, brisket, roast chicken, and Argentine-style chimichurri steak. Comfortable with hard aged cheeses.
