Tasting notes

The nose lifts ripe blackberry, plum, and a soft peppery note over a light spice edge. The palate is medium-bodied and smooth, with dark-fruit weight, a whisper of vanilla oak, and soft ripe tannins. The finish is clean and warm, with a lingering pepper note.

Food pairing

A natural for cholent, grilled meats, brisket, and Shabbos meat courses. Also comfortable with mushroom kugel and hard cheeses.
